What You'll Do

The Channel Manager is responsible for setting up a clear plan to engage and support Partners to develop their business around Avalara solutions and create Sales opportunities. Partners might be in different stages of their company growth, and we expect that the Channel Manager assist in all phases with knowledge, processes, coaching, and other support on all Avalara business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist partners with Business Growth Plans.
  • Perform forecast with partner on a weekly basis.
  • Support partners to generate leads via co-marketing actions.
  • Master Pipeline Management.
  • Monitor partners’ capabilities to sell effectively (right people: sales, presales, documentation, presentation, pricing/quotations, right pitch, demo environment).
  • Prepare sales proposals to channel partners once the deal is confirmed (won deal).
