About The Opportunity

Accountable to the Continuing Care Behavioral Health Manager, the Challenging Behaviour Resource Coordinator (CBRC) facilitates and supports the implementation of the Behavioural Health Program within the continuing care sector. The CBRC enhances the capacity of continuing care providers to care for older persons with complex cognitive (dementia) and mental health needs and associated responsive behaviours. Through leadership and collaboration, the CBRC provides guidance and advice to promote coordination and integration of services, all in accordance with Nova Scotia Health’s Mission, Vision, Values, Standards, Policies and Procedures.

About You

  • Completion of a university degree in a regulated healthcare profession with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience (Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist)
