Job Description
Responsibilities
- Providing parts, tools and equipment to users from stores; performing the inventory control functions of receiving, shipping, stock keeping, materials and tools issuing and related clerical duties.
- Goods handling, preparing documents, records maintenance, housekeeping, inventory control, while ensuring adherence to stores related policies and procedures.
Shift work is required.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Provincial certification in Industrial Warehousing, Automotive Parts preferred.
- Two or three years related industrial stores experience with working knowledge of inventory controls.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to identify common electro‑mechanical parts and general tools.
- Must be capable of using a computer for inventory control.
