Job Description

Working as a Heavy Duty Mechanic at our Elko, BC sawmill, you’ll play a key role in keeping our mobile and heavy equipment operating safely and reliably. From preventative maintenance and diagnostics to complex repairs, you’ll use your technical expertise to support uptime, equipment reliability, and safe mill operations. If you’re a certified tradesperson who enjoys troubleshooting, working with heavy equipment, and being part of a hands-on maintenance team, this opportunity could be a great fit.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Elko, BC. The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

What you will do as a Heavy Duty Mechanic:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical knowledge to identify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
