Certified Athletic Trainer

TITLE: Certified Athletic Trainer PAY GRADE: Certified Salary Schedule FLSA: Exempt SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director and Building Principal TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Works on-site according to designated schedule. Works non-regular hours to accommodate student athletic needs as required in multiple locations SUMMARY: Provides prevention and care of athletic injuries including therapeutic rehabilitation to allow for the least loss of competitive time, while keeping the mental and physical welfare of the athlete as the top priority. Reports to the Athletic Director(s) and Building Principal(s). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a health-related field. One (1) year of related experience. Current National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Certification. Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certification.
