Centre Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

Are you able to deliver fantastic customer service? We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard‑working people person to help work in our café and visitor centre at our Sherwood Forest Reserve. You will be working indoors and outdoors, helping to give a warm welcome to our visitors and assisting with the day‑to‑day running of our operations. Our visitor operation runs all year round so you will need to be flexible and available to work weekends, bank holidays and during the week.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ensure they are set up for a great visit.
• Deliver excellent customer service in our shop and café, including working in the kitchen, on the tills and making hot drinks.
• Balance tills and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain basic food hygiene practices in a café or customer‑facing environment.
