Job Description

The Position

  • Oversee daily catering operations and assist in service delivery

  • Lead, motivate, and support a small team to ensure high standards of food presentation and customer service

  • Assist with food preparation and service as required

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

  • Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimise wastage

  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and service area
  • The Person

  • Current Blue Card or ability to obtain

  • Previous experience in a catering, supervisory, or team leader role (education environment advantageous)

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Confident using POS systems and handling cash

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to train and develop others
