Catering Assistant (JE)

Role Overview

An opportunity to join the catering team at Stratheden Hospital. Main duties include maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the delivery of the catering service, covering duties within the main kitchen, preparing food and serving patients and visitors in the dining room.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the catering kitchen and dining areas.
• Cover kitchen duties as required.
• Prepare basic food items and serve patients and visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Up to date Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Previous experience in a large‑scale catering environment is advantageous; full training will be provided.
• Must be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
• This role does not qualify for a skilled worker visa or sponsorship; applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
