Purpose of the Role
The Catering Assistant plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the catering service, providing excellent customer service while supporting the kitchen and front-of-house teams. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring flexibility to work across different areas of the operation, including food preparation, food service, cash handling, cleaning and stock duties.
The successful candidate will work closely with both the Head Chef and General Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of a high-quality catering service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional and efficient customer service at all times.
- Operate the cash register/POS system accurately, processing customer transactions and balancing tills as required.
