Category Manager (CAPEX) – Construction & Engineering Projects

A leading international life sciences organisation is seeking an experienced Category Manager (CAPEX) to support major facility expansion and infrastructure investment projects in Switzerland.

This role is responsible for leading procurement and category management activities across construction-related CAPEX projects, with a focus on civil works, structural steel, building construction and interior fit-out packages.

Job duration – approx. 12 months (high possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies for construction and engineering-related spend
  • Lead sourcing activities, tenders, supplier evaluations and contract negotiations
