The Category Manager – MRO has a pivotal role within Vista’s Procurement department, overseeing a dynamic Buying team responsible for sourcing MRO materials for Vista Facilities in Windsor and Reno. As the strategic lead for Indirect Services, this position involves negotiating multi‑year complex contracts and managing supplier contracts within the MRO department. An innovative and strategic leader, the Category Manager – MRO plays a key role in continuously evaluating supplier contracts, finding opportunities for process efficiency, budget savings, and improved service. This includes a focus on continuously improving people, procurement practices, and Supplier relationship management. The role requires a keen eye for identifying areas where procurement projects can contribute to departmental goals.
