Job Description

• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and issue receipts to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies and ensuring the register area is tidy.
• Assist with bagging and packaging purchases as necessary.
• Promote and upsell store products or services to customers when appropriate.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in cashiering or customer service (preferred).
