Job Description

• A cashier is responsible for processing transactions at the point of sale, handling customer payments, and providing excellent customer service. They work in various settings, including retail stores, restaurants, supermarkets, and other businesses. Cashiers are expected to operate cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems, assist customers, and ensure that transactions are completed accurately.
• Processing Payments: Scan items or manually enter item information, calculate the total cost of purchases, and process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payment systems.
• Providing Change and Receipts: Provide customers with the correct change and print or email receipts for transactions.
