• A cashier is responsible for processing transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service.
• Processing Transactions: Scan items, calculate total costs, apply discounts or promotions, and accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or other methods.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Cash Handling: Maintain an accurate cash drawer, make change, and ensure proper currency handling.
