Job Summary

JCL INC is looking for one (1) Carpenter (Form Setter) to join our Calgary team. This is a permanent position and is conducted in English.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
• Supervise employees on site
• Form foundation footings and make ready for concrete pouring
• Form foundation walls using dura form forming system and make ready for concrete
• Strip forms from walls and return to cages

Education

• Completion of secondary school
• Completion of apprenticeship or other Carpenter training is an asset

Compensation

$32.12 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval.
