Job Title: Caretaker

Contract Type: Fixed term for 2 years

Salary: £26,227.50 per annum

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

Location: Balls Road, Wirral

About You

• Proven experience in general maintenance / caretaking / handyman duties (e.g. minor repairs, basic plumbing, decorating, joinery, grounds upkeep).
• Ability to identify faults, assess what’s needed, and either complete repairs safely or report/escalate appropriately.
• Experience of working with contractors and monitoring repairs (e.g. logging issues, following up, checking work completed).
• Experience of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in communal areas and external spaces.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work, including safe use of tools/equipment and manual handling.
