The Opportunity – Caretaker (permanent, part-time)

This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement. Job Classification: Caretaker II.

Note: This is a part-time permanent role. The schedule is Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 7:00 am – 2:45 pm.

Key Job Functions

Any of the duties listed below may be required in your assigned areas or other areas as needed.

• Perform caretaking tasks such as general and specific cleaning of offices, stairways, hallways, meeting rooms, classrooms, washrooms, gyms, lockers, labs, and equipment bays.
• Operate associated equipment for cleaning including carpet sweeping/vacuuming, steam cleaning, auto scrubbers and floor polishers.
• Scrub/strip floors and concrete as well as lay finish.
• Clean and service washrooms and locker/shower rooms.
• Clean windows, walls, doors, and partitions.
