Job Description

The Role:

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a high level of general cleanliness, general maintenance and upkeep, ensuring a friendly and efficient service to the public. Driving duties and other services to support the activities of the Section in keeping with aims and values.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's employment experience working as a caretaker with specific experience in at least three of the following areas:Cleaning;Maintenance Work;Erecting, dismantling and storing equipment;Security;First Aid.Knowledge of Health and SafetyKnowledge of CoSHH Knowledge of cleaning material stock taking.Experience of operating electrical and mechanical cleaning equipmentExperience of operating heating plant equipment
  • Key holder open and close building
  • Carry out Health & Safety checks and record as required
  • Set up and set down meeting rooms for service users
