Care Housing Attendant/HCA

: Under general supervision assists residents (visitors and companions) to enjoy a lifestyle designed to encourage independence, dignity and maintenance of functional ability by providing support with activities of daily living, household chores and social needs. Duties involve assisting residents with personal care, with housekeeping services, with dietary needs and with social activities as required. Performs other related duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications

:

Must have graduated from a recognized Health Care Aide program or equivalent program recognized by CapitalCare. Must be registered on the HCA Directory with status Certified or Substantially Equivalent. Must be able to read and write fluently in the English language.
