Care Home Chef - Permanent - Macclesfield

Blue Arrow are recruiting a permanent chef on behalf of our client in Macclesfield.

Care Home situated in Macclesfield (SK10 area).

30-40 hours per week working 4 on 4 off in tandem with other chef.

Hours are 7am-5pm.

Hourly rate is £13.88.

Job Role

Consulting Residents: Regularly speaking with residents to incorporate their personal likes, dislikes, and cultural or religious dietary requests into the menu.

Nutritional Balance: Creating seasonal, balanced menus that provide essential nutrients for older adults.

Special Diets: Accommodating medical requirements, including diabetic, soft, allergen-free, or high-calorie diets, and preparing puréed meals for residents with dysphagia.

Food Preparation & Service

• Cooking Meals: Preparing three main meals a day, alongside healthy snacks, beverages, and homemade cakes.
