Care Assistant – Copper Beech Care Home

Location: Copper Beech Care Home, Eastbourne Road, Ridgewood, Uckfield TN22 5ST

Salary: £13.30 up to £14.30 per hour depending on experience, 44‑hour contract.

Schedule: Full time, 44 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care, recognising and meeting specific needs.
• Support residents with a wide range of requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Work within a team supporting the nurse or senior care assistant in monitoring residents and reporting changes.
• Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Any level of experience; training provided for new carers.
• Passion for care, strong interpersonal skills, empathy and understanding of others’ needs.
