About the role
Full time contract (33 hours per week) on nights, 8:00pm – 8:00am. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, providing personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and helping with daily activities. You will deliver care with compassion, ensuring each resident retains their individuality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Personal care – washing, dressing, hygiene and providing meals
- Assisting with daily activities and maintaining a positive environment
- Safeguarding residents by recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and reporting concerns
- Attending safeguarding training appropriate to the role and seeking advice when needed
- Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
