Job responsibilities

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, including food and drink, personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Follow individual care plans and provide one‑to‑one support.
• Offer companionship and support to help create enjoyable moments with residents.
• Monitor residents’ well‑being and report any changes to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Some experience of caring for older people.
• Can‑do approach and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all residents.
