Location: Annan, Dumfries

Salary: GBP 28,828 – 30,773.60 per annum (or £13.45 per hour)

Hours: 22–44 per week (day or night shifts)

Overview

A care home on the outskirts of Dumfries in Annan requires an experienced Care Assistant to work on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the care of service users
• Support the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Carers with the general running of the service

Qualifications

• Caring and empathetic nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering high standards of care
• Hold a Care Certificate/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in care, even without prior carer role
