Cardio Pulmonary Technician

The Cardio Pulmonary Technician performs therapeutic treatments, tests and assists the physician with invasive procedures. Performs respiratory care procedures / performs tests in compliance with state regulatory standards / participates in emergency response team. Responsible for maintaining quality control program, test reports are documented correctly and completely and documentation in medical records is reflective of patient tolerance to procedure as well as a reflection of results. Instruct patients in pulmonary health issues, medication usage and precautions, preparation for testing / procedures. Submits patient charges in a timely manner and complete with diagnosis / charge codes. Identifies system strengths and participates in development of system enhancements.
