About the job

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi within the Food & Beverage Department, the Captain is responsible for ensuring that their section of the restaurant is operated smoothly and that guests are served food and beverage according to the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi. The Captain reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Co‑coordinate and supervise all duties for opening and closing brigade.
• Assist the assistant manager in planning according to reservations and special events.
• Check condition, cleanliness and proper functioning of all operating equipment and furniture.
• Assist in the training of waiter, waitress and junior waiters.
• Ensure correct and complete set‑up of the restaurant section assigned.
• Welcome guests at station and assist in seating.
• Present menus and beverage list to the guest with recommendations design...
