(CAN) Deli Bakery Team Associate

Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What you’ll do

• Zone the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and products are in the correct location.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Take orders for Deli Department merchandise, prepare hot food merchandise, and provide requested assistance.
• Prepare deli food orders using utensils; prepare chicken using a rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into the display area.
