Job Description
Support the Conklin Métis Culture Camp as a Camp Labourer during a temporary position from August 7-9, 2026. Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for attendees.
You will assist in crucial cleaning tasks at Wassasi Park, contributing to the success of the camp coordinated by CRDAC. This position involves hands-on work and interaction with both camp leaders and fellow volunteers, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean living spaces and communal areas of the camp
• Manage garbage and fire safety throughout the event
• Assist with general repairs as needed
• Guide and communicate effectively with volunteers
• Address conflicts in a professional manner
Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Knowledge of camp setup best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Willingness to work under physical demands
