Job Description
The Gauge Calibration Technician procures, tracks, maintains, and calibrates mechanical and electrical measurement devices used throughout the facility. This onsite, first-shift role supports Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams by ensuring that all gauges and precision measuring instruments are accurate, reliable, and ready for use in production.
Responsibilities
+ Acquire mechanical and electrical measurement devices as requested by Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing teams.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine appropriate device classification and usage.
+ Assign and mark devices with unique identification numbers to ensure proper tracking and traceability.
+ Prepare measurement devices for use on the production floor by following established procedures and guidelines.
