Jardeg seeks a skilled Carpenter Journeyperson for the 78th Ave Lightrail Transit Bridge in Calgary, AB. Engage in concrete formwork and act as a mentor while working locally.
In this position with Technical Workforce Inc., you'll work on vital infrastructure projects, focusing on the assembly of forms and structures. This role operates on a five days on, two days off schedule, accommodating for shifts that may extend into evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct concrete forms and chutes for pouring
• Cut, shape, and join materials as per project needs
• Work with scaffolding for elevated structures
• Monitor work quality and rectify issues as needed
• Mentor and lead apprentice carpenters
Requirements:
• Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket from recognized authority preferred
• Non-ticketed candidates must prove carpentry hours
