Position Summary

Prepare and decorate specialty bakery products, provide excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of presentation and operations in the bakery department at Safeway, Canmore.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting superior service goals of the department.
• Greets customers politely and consistently.
• Icing, finishing, personalizing, and decorating specialty bakery products.
• Ensure department presentation and operations standards are met, including cleanliness, sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing, seasonal schematic, and proper backroom procedures.
• Maintain highest quality of product available for customers.
• Monitor for adherence to variety standards and 100% compliance on ad item display.
