The Cake Decorator & Fondant Specialist is responsible for designing, decorating, and finishing cakes using fondant, buttercream, and other decorative elements. The role ensures high-quality presentation, creativity, and consistency while meeting customer specifications and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Decorate cakes using fondant, buttercream, royal icing, and other techniques
  • Create custom cake designs based on customer orders, themes, and specifications
  • Shape, color, and mold fondant figures, flowers, and decorative elements
  • Apply finishing details such as piping, glazing, and texturing
  • Ensure accuracy of design, size, and customization requests
  • Maintain quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards during decoration
  • Coordinate with bakers and sales staff for order details and timelines
  • Properly store and handle finished cakes and decorative materials
