Job Description
- Implements proper meter installation, and regular inspection and maintenance of all in-service meters of all types, in accordance with ERC and other government policy standards
- Designs and recommends comprehensive and effective solutions on metering applications on distribution lines
- Implements rehabilitation, maintenance and enhancement programs on meter application in accordance with the existing rules and guidelines of ERC
- Formulate an effective schedule on preventive maintenance test, calibration and correction based on government laws on revenue metering
- Helps the officer to troubleshoot and analyze technical problems on metering and make necessary recommendation for its correction
- Review existing policies concerning energy meters, pilferage, new connection, disconnection, and enhance guidelines/policy in accordance with the government laws
