Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join the Electrical Wiring Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The CAD Technician will be responsible for translating designs and technical information into accurate manufacturing drawings for production, supporting the cable bus mechanical design team.
What Will You Do?
- Interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.
- Generate models within 3D workspace.
- Work with 3D scans and point cloud models.
- Prepare product layout and approval drawings.
- Ensure standard design and drawing procedures are followed.
- Prepare component manufacturing drawings for production.
- Prepare installation manuals and arrangement drawings.
- Follow projects through manufacturing processes ensuring proper production and assembly of components.
- Provide manufacturing and assembly input.
