Job Title: CAD Operator

Position Brief

Under the supervision of the Project Lead, the CAD Operator is responsible for preparing and encoding shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings as instructed by the Project Lead or Project Engineer. The role ensures the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of all technical drawings in line with company CAD standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Encode as-built drawings based on drafts and sketches provided by the Site Engineer.
• Prepare shop drawings and detailed plans as directed by the Project Lead or Project Engineer.
• Implement and follow company CAD standards and formatting guidelines.
• Ensure all drawings are updated, accurate, and readable at all times.
• Coordinate regularly with the Project Document Controller to endorse soft copies of updated drawings for safe keeping and version control.
