CAD Operator

Communicating with clients, and Civil Engineers to understand the project requirements and specifications

Checking project briefs, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure it matches the said specifications

Creating rough sketches and plans using CAD software

Visiting construction sites to check for any design limitations and to gather additional information

Making changes or adjustments to drafts upon receiving feedback

Ensuring all project designs and plans adhere to the industry standard and safety regulations

Mentioning instructions on blueprints using symbols and other special notations

SPECIAL QUALIFICATION / LICENSE / TRAINING:

Proven work experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, Draftsman , or a similar role in the Engineering department

Familiarity with CAD and drafting software and tools

Excellent drafting, technical, and mechanical skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
