CAD Designer (Technologist)

About the Role

As a CAD Designer (Technologist) at Onterris, you will be based in our Calgary or Edmonton office, assisting multiple civil design projects and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, regulatory agencies, and clients.

Compensation ranges from $31.00 to $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clear, accurate CAD drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Build surfaces, alignments, profiles, sections, corridors, grading plans, and 3D models from survey data, LiDAR, and field inputs.
• Produce plan, profile, and cross‑section drawings for design and construction packages.
• Interpret survey data, field notes, UAV imagery, and site photography to support design and as‑built deliverables.
• Complete material take‑offs to support quantity and cost estimates.
