Responsibilities

  • Install and set up various types of cable wiring for telecommunications, internet, or electrical systems.
  • Route cables in compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Cut, strip, and connect wires to connectors, outlets, and terminals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with cable systems, including testing for signal strength and quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in cable installation or electrical work is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cable systems and wiring techniques.
  • Ability to use hand tools and specialized equipment (e.g., cable testers).
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
