Job Summary
The Distribution Centre (DC) team plays a key role in providing customers with timely and accurate merchandise and products, contributing to the company’s success and reputation of excellent service. Our goal is to ship 100% of customer orders every day, with 99.94% accuracy. The DC Manager oversees the local operation, with day‑to‑day support from the Lead Hand.
DC Support is comprised of:
- Inventory Control
- Picking and Packing
- Checking (Audit)
- Shipping
- Receiving
- Material Handling (Put away and Replenishment)
DC Support Team Schein Members (TSMs) are responsible for all aspects of receiving and distribution center shipments per company policies and guidelines including, but not limited to, scheduling inbound carrier deliveries, processing required paperwork or reports, and handling all internal and external customer inquiries.
