Job Description
Buyer is required for a manufacturing company in Benoni. The role involves sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, consumables, tools, and services required for manufacturing and installation projects. The buyer ensures materials are procured at the best price, quality, and lead time while maintaining adequate stock levels and supporting project delivery schedules.
The Buyer plays a critical role in controlling costs, maintaining supplier relationships, reducing procurement risks, and ensuring uninterrupted production and installation operations.
Qualifications
- Experience within the aluminium, glazing, construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.
