Resumen: The Buyer - MRP is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and indirect supplies to support production schedules in a maquiladora environment.This role ensures material availability through efficient use of the MRP system, vendor management, and alignment with company quality, cost, and delivery standards.
**Responsabilidades**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Review and analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to generate purchase orders in line with production demand.
- Ensure the on-time procurement of materials and components to prevent line stoppages and production delays.
- Manage vendor relationships, including communication, follow-up, and negotiation of lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to quality, delays, or non-conformances.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Logistics teams to resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
