Key Responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for goods and services required by sales in the bidding process.
• Plan for raw components such as steel, flanges, fittings, etc.
• Issue requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP) and select the best source consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate and manage long‑term pricing agreements on critical commodities.
• Order material as per the purchasing queue and approved requisitions.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and departments involved to resolve procurement‑related problems.
• Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that the product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintain appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements and that suppliers are aware of their pe...
