Responsible for the authorization of company resources to procure goods, equipment and services needed to meet customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
Purchase order placement and expediting. Supplier management and performance measurement. Provide forecast of raw material requirements with internal and external vendors on a periodic basis Work closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure the best suppliers and components are utilized in the design; negotiate pricing, terms, availability and lead times with suppliers Prepare supply chain summary reports of the BOM (Bill of Material) to clearly define cost, lead times, supplier locations, component reuse and supply chain strat...
