Summary

DMC Mining Services is currently looking for a Buyer to join our team on a contract basis based in Sudbury, Ontario. The Buyer will be responsible for the day‑to‑day purchasing of materials for the project, managing the entire PO lifecycle—including sourcing goods and services, contract drafting, PO placement, expediting, and closeout. The role works closely with suppliers, the Operations (OPS) team and the Accounts Payable (AP) department to ensure efficient procurement operations, proper vendor communication, and prompt invoice payment. The Buyer must ensure procurement activities comply with the contract between DMC and the client, that POs are created accurately, updated as required, and closed in a timely manner, and conduct all business with the highest degree of ethics, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices per industry standards and DMC Mining Services policies and procedures.
