The Manager, Business Development will play a significant role in growing ratings market presence in Latin America. She/he will secure new clients, maintain current client and market relationships and identify/target new growth opportunities in the region working closely with Managing Director to execute regional market development strategy, expansion of current territories and renewal of current ratings.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue opportunities within the Latin American insurance and reinsurance markets and create proposals of strategies/products/initiatives for the successful growth of AM Best's business in the region
Maintain thorough records of all market interactions, as necessary for regulatory compliance
Responsible for preparing management reports on targets and goals
Initiate contact with prospective (re) insurance organizations and explain to them the value of an AM Best rating and how to participate in that process
