Business Development Engineer

This role is open to candidates based in either Singapore or Penang, Malaysia.

Brief Summary

Edmund Optics Singapore is hiring a Business Development Engineer to grow our customer base across Southeast Asia, based in Penang, Malaysia. This is a technical sales role. It takes over an established book of semiconductor, automation, and machine vision accounts, with responsibility for growing them and winning new business across the region.

We are looking for someone with an existing network in this market, a track record in key account growth, and the commercial judgement to engage customer engineering teams. A working feel for imaging optics is an advantage.
