Position Summary
Business Development Director – Public Sector. Responsible for prospecting public sector organizations that are not currently clients of Gartner within an assigned geographic territory, identifying key buying centers to expand the net new client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a list of new prospects and clients to drive business development.
- Collaborate with internal resources and external networks to prioritize and penetrate key accounts.
- Focus on net new logos and client accounts, using account planning and time‑management tools to increase research revenue to an assigned quota.
- Establish and maintain executive relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor.
