Title: Burn Table Programmer

Status: Exempt

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Location: Manitowoc, WI

Summary:

Perform duties related to steel identification, inventory management, programming, and prioritization of CNC Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting tables.

Responsibilities:

  • Program CNC nests for Plasma and Oxy-Fuel cutting tablesMake appropriate adjustments to the processes, such as travel speed, tip size, tip replacement, gas pressures, kerf compensation, torch height, and other factors as needed to produce the desired quality
  • Identify raw material size and grade requirements to support work orders
  • Support management and optimization of flat steel plate inventory
  • Support prioritization of burn table jobs as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
