Job Description
Become a key player in health and safety at Burgundy Diamond Mines as a Safety Advisor at the Ekati Diamond Mine. Experience a unique 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule while engaging with all departments.
The Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Superintendent and support operational initiatives. Your expertise will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and improve overall workplace safety. Interact across all organization levels for effective communication, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate health and safety procedures in various operations
• Lead safety inspections and hazard assessments
• Aid in development of safety training initiatives
• Conduct audits of health and safety programs
