Post Title :Building Supervisor/Handyman

Responsible to :Facilities Manager/s

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULTS AREAS:

  • Security of Buildings (Internal and External) including opening and closing of School and grounds.
  • To be responsible for maintaining the security of the premises and its contents. Cooperating with all appropriate personnel and agencies in maintaining the security of the premises.
  • Apply safety measures to maintain safe access/egress in buildings and pathways/roadways/gullies/drains and ensure that they are clean and tidy and free from litter.
  • Respond to calls from the Mitie help desk operators as required.
  • Carryout checks on condition of building, fixtures and fittings, identify defects and report as per procedure.
